The Fountains Route which allows you to visit the old streets of the town and the fountains still present.
The location in the foothills allows Santorso to benefit from numerous springs. This itinerary is an opportunity to discover the public and private fountains that for centuries have distributed the water necessary for the life of the community. At the same time, it allows you to know the most significant places of the urban complex with historic villas and ancient places of worship.
The route starts from the west side of the town, the richest from a water point of view: the area of Timonchio in which flows the homonymous stream that is formed by the confluence of three branches coming from the overlying area of the Tretto.
The itinerary is 3 km long and enriched by minitotems. It can be easily traveled by any means.
